Well, I have one more week before I start my "official training" for the Wasatch Back Relay. What is that you say? Well it is a 24 hour party! Oh, and a 184 mile relay race from Logan to Park City. Crazy you say? Probably, but that is part of the fun. I can't wait!! Lots of running, running and running. Anyone want to join me on a training run? We do need some backup runners in case someone drops out so get up and run so you will be ready for the 24 hour party this June. Here are some videos from last year. Check it out... (that's if I get the link right) If it doesn't work, go to ragnarrelay.com and check out some of the wild team videos under the community tab.
Go Team R.U.S.H.!!!
The family is the building block of society. It is a nursery, a school, a hospital, a leisure center, a place of refuge and a place of rest. It fashions our beliefs; it is the preparation for the rest of our life. –Margaret Thatcher

YES VIRGINIA, THERE IS A SANTA CLAUS!
Well, there must be since I am finally posting on my blog. Wow! Where to begin. How about this year has been very busy and eventful. My last post said I had started to work at Tai Pan. Well, that lasted until January and then I got a full time job at Stroops. John has switched from banking to grocery stores. (I must say that I need to go thank Centennial for letting him go last December and giving us the opportunity to get out ahead of the curve)
I will have to practice posting pictures etc from the last year. I don't know if I remember how. (I just barely figured out my login and password!)
Anyway, hopefully I can find time to let everyone know what is up with our little family. Everyone is healthy and happy and getting bigger by the moment. Maybe I will even cook dinner tonight!
Love to all!! Kristen

A New Adventure
Well, I finally found a part-time job. I can't think of a better place than Tai Pan Trading. I have worked two days and love it! I am on the merchandising team so I get to help make all of the awesome displays. I come home covered in glitter - what more could a girl want! Let me say that there are some talented ladies that work there! I am excited to watch and learn from them. Maybe someday my house will look as good as the store! Now...if I can only bring home a paycheck and not just product!!
Anyone not been???? Well, it's time to go!! We are putting out all the great Christmas items right now. AND...right now there is a coupon!! Happy Shopping Ladies!!

My New Calling...I mean my New Calling
Well, I am officially not the camp director anymore. What a sad day! I really enjoyed going to girl's camp the last two years. It has been a great blessing to serve them and get to know all of them and learn of their great abilities. They have such strong testimonies. But alas, good times must come to an end.... I was called to be the Cub Committee Chairman - oh wait- that lasted five days...now I am the Webelos leader! Yes, Bishopric members are human! They offered me the wrong calling! Hallelujah for mistakes!!!! I went to my first den meeting and had fun with the boys. We did science projects. Way fun! Well, I guess I will spend one day a week with a bunch of 10 year old boys. Off to the races........ wish me luck!

Hip, Hip Hooray! It's Time for a Birthday!!
Bailey decided that for her five year old birthday party she wanted to have a swimming party with a few of her good friends. They had so much fun splashing and learning new water tricks! They wrapped up the party with presents and cupcakes. Look close and you will see the water mascot...aka Maggie!

Bountiful's Annual 24th of July Parade!
We had so much fun this year at the parade! Grandma Patsy found a new spot for us to sit and enjoy this year. We usually sit at the end of the parade route and this year we decided to try the beginning. Wow! We have been missing out on all the action! The kids were LOADED with stuff by the end of the parade!! Every float had candy. Hayden's pockets were so full his pants almost fell off! The kids also got stuffed animals, lanyards and t-shirts. They even were handing out free Vaults! As if the kids needed anymore energy!! We had a great time. Thanks Grandma Patsy for finding us a great place to watch!
Summer Fun!
Hayden was always on the lookout for Granda Steve and anyone else he could find to splash.
The cousins had so much fun playing with each other and getting Grandpa in the pool!
Carter warming up in the sun!
We had a blast! I think all of us came home with sunburns that day. In fact, some of us were quite sore and uncomfortable for a few days! (Mike) LOL
