Well, I finally found a part-time job. I can't think of a better place than Tai Pan Trading. I have worked two days and love it! I am on the merchandising team so I get to help make all of the awesome displays. I come home covered in glitter - what more could a girl want! Let me say that there are some talented ladies that work there! I am excited to watch and learn from them. Maybe someday my house will look as good as the store! Now...if I can only bring home a paycheck and not just product!!
Anyone not been???? Well, it's time to go!! We are putting out all the great Christmas items right now. AND...right now there is a coupon!! Happy Shopping Ladies!!

My New Calling...I mean my New Calling
Well, I am officially not the camp director anymore. What a sad day! I really enjoyed going to girl's camp the last two years. It has been a great blessing to serve them and get to know all of them and learn of their great abilities. They have such strong testimonies. But alas, good times must come to an end.... I was called to be the Cub Committee Chairman - oh wait- that lasted five days...now I am the Webelos leader! Yes, Bishopric members are human! They offered me the wrong calling! Hallelujah for mistakes!!!! I went to my first den meeting and had fun with the boys. We did science projects. Way fun! Well, I guess I will spend one day a week with a bunch of 10 year old boys. Off to the races........ wish me luck!

Hip, Hip Hooray! It's Time for a Birthday!!
Bailey decided that for her five year old birthday party she wanted to have a swimming party with a few of her good friends. They had so much fun splashing and learning new water tricks! They wrapped up the party with presents and cupcakes. Look close and you will see the water mascot...aka Maggie!

Bountiful's Annual 24th of July Parade!
We had so much fun this year at the parade! Grandma Patsy found a new spot for us to sit and enjoy this year. We usually sit at the end of the parade route and this year we decided to try the beginning. Wow! We have been missing out on all the action! The kids were LOADED with stuff by the end of the parade!! Every float had candy. Hayden's pockets were so full his pants almost fell off! The kids also got stuffed animals, lanyards and t-shirts. They even were handing out free Vaults! As if the kids needed anymore energy!! We had a great time. Thanks Grandma Patsy for finding us a great place to watch!
Summer Fun!
Hayden was always on the lookout for Granda Steve and anyone else he could find to splash.
The cousins had so much fun playing with each other and getting Grandpa in the pool!
Carter warming up in the sun!
We had a blast! I think all of us came home with sunburns that day. In fact, some of us were quite sore and uncomfortable for a few days! (Mike) LOL

Tag - I'M it!!
I guess I get to think of 7 random things about me. I think I am kind of boring but here goes....
7- Since I grew up a Navy brat, I have to move my furniture around at least two times every year. I get restless and need to change something so that seems to be the easiest thing to do. That also means my house gets cleaned at least twice a year too.
6- I hated football until about four years ago when my two oldest boys Hayden and Micah decided to play. I stayed for every practice and learned a TON. Guess what? When the QB calls out random numbers - it means something. I know right where the #4 hole is! Thanks boys!
5- I love to travel! Where can I go next? Can you say Maui? Carribbean? Chuuk? Australia? Shall I go on?
4- I have a freckle by my right elbow. Thanks Hayden for the help.
3- I didn't want to get my picture taken for my business cards. It took me three years to work up the courage to do it. Father's day this year, John finally got his wish! Surprise! I have about 953 left. Anyone wanting to buy, sell a home or know of someone that wants to - post a comment and I would be happy to pass some along to you.
2- I love this country!!! Is it strange to tear up when the jets fly over my head? Yes, I go to every Thunderbird show and yes I go to the tarmac to watch. Once my father in law took me onto HAFB in restricted areas to see some of the jets that were being painted. I was sooo nervous that he or I would get in some serious trouble. Oh how cool was it when the guys working in there said "do you want to sit in one?" HELLO - yes!!! I could only sit in the F-16 because the F-18 that was there was fueled and ready to go. Did he think I was going to steal it? I must say that I probably didn't stop talking about it for days..well let's be honest...I still talk about it.
1- And the number one random thing..as if you all didn't know...I am just slightly obsessed about Australian Labradoodles. Just slightly though and not mostly. (there is a difference..go watch Princess Bride to find out how) I love to check all the new puppies being born around the world. You know I have to be prepared for doodle number two. Which by the way will be most likely a chocolate boy named Murphy.
Well, that was quite fun and it has made me think of more random things about myself. Thanks for the fun time Jody!! And now I pass the torch, baton or whatever this is to..... the only other person I know of with a blog....Dear brother in law Matt. Yes, Kim you can do one too.

Our new Puppy!
Yeah! October 30, 2006! The day was finally here to get Maggie! I was so excited, probably more than the kids, to meet her. What an adventure we had. First, we went to the wrong part of the airport and then when we tried to go to the cargo terminal we discovered that we had a flat tire. Of course, that is also when we discovered we did not have the right tools to lower the spare tire. I was so upset! Our little puppy was going to have to sit in her crate with no one there to take care of her. John must have thought I was nuts but he helped to keep me calm anyway. Almost an hour later, we finally got to the right area and we all ran to see if she was there yet. There she was - cute as anything! She came right out of her crate. We signed the paperwork and went outside for a better greeting. She was 8 weeks old and weighed about 8 pounds. Cute as ever! Especially with her cute rose colored squishy nose. She romped around on the grass for awhile, licked the kids to death and then was ready to go. Off we went to begin a new chapter in our life with our new Buchi pet.
